CO-OPERATION IN AGRICULTURE OF ZAURALYE: HISTORY AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

At the end of the last century two factors made an appreciable, influence on the development of agricultural production, i.e. development of industry especially processing agricultural products and peasants cooperative movement.
On a level with butter-making co-operation there spread credit and machine associations of a vertical type in Zauralye, and Western Siberia.
During an overall collectivization of peasants farues the process of their unification lost co-operative features.
At present the formation of co-operatives of a vertical type in Zauralye has become one of the paramount tasks. The urgent need of cooperation is that of realization of agricultural products (milk first of all).
